Last day to register to vote for the primary election

Last day to request mail-in absentee ballot
May 14, 2026:
Early in-person absentee voting (hours vary by county)

Early in-person absentee voting (hours vary by county)
May 16, 2026:
Early in-person absentee voting (hours vary by county)
May 19, 2026:
PRIMARY ELECTION DAY
- Hours of voting: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., prevailing time
- At 6 p.m., the Precinct Sheriff goes to the end of the line and stays there until everyone in front of him / her has voted.
- Anyone in line by 6 p.m. is given the opportunity to vote
