We’re also proud Democrats—people who believe in fairness, equity, and opportunity for everyone in Jessamine County.

The Jessamine County Democratic Party is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to making our community stronger, more inclusive, and more connected. We support candidates who share our values, advocate for policies that improve everyday lives, and work to make civic engagement something everyone feels welcome to be part of.

You don’t need to be a political expert or have a degree in government to get involved. You just have to care—and show up. That’s where we come in.

This blog is one more way we’re opening the door. In the weeks and months ahead, you’ll see updates about upcoming elections, ways to get involved, behind-the-scenes stories from local campaigns, and spotlights on some of the amazing volunteers and leaders helping to move Jessamine County forward.

Come to a meeting! Our next meeting will be on July 30th at 6:30pm at the Nicholasville Police Station’s community room. The door is on the right side of the building. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re ready to volunteer or just curious about what we do.
